Solo excursions spent breathing in crisper air – reconnection, recharging and reevaluating. Appreciating the necessary art of solitude and stillness. And acknowledging the feel of change and seasonal transitions.
On occasion I find myself losing the balance – forgetting about my own inner awareness. Over stimulated. Absorbed in the outside world. Constantly checking my phone. Struggling to maintain equilibrium… It takes commitment to being open to the limitless possibilities that extend far beyond this universe. A fundamental commitment to ourselves. Shutting down. Tapping in. Charging our batteries. Taking a breather. Become aware. We need that time — time to experience a bit of detachment, time to wonder, get a little lost. We need it oh so badly. For the sake of ourselves and for those that surround us.
“Be a loner. That gives you time to wonder, to search for the truth. Have holy curiosity. Make your life worth living.” — Albert Einstein
